Blake is divorced, the father of two boys who keep him busy. On days they're with their mother, he tries to go out with his friends, keeping an eye on a potential love interest. It's been years since he's had a long-term relationship because each time he meets someone, he can't keep his commitment to her. Still hurt from his previous marriage, he hasn't let go and doesn't fully trust getting involved with someone who's not his children's mother.
Randy lives his life knowing nothing about women and nothing about himself. He goes to work, comes home to his wife, then sits on the couch watching t.v. until it's time to go to bed. Cash is 32, from a small town in Minnesota. He's awkward and insecure around women. Although he tries to be a gentleman, picking up the tab and opening doors, women don't show him the same respect. The more he's rejected, the more self-sacrificing he becomes to try and please them. He's tired of feeling weak, not worthy of finding love.
